Energy, Water, and Carbon reduction

Carbon Reduction 

Sunlit has adopted the ISO 14064-1 standard for greenhouse gas verification.  2025 will be used as the base year to launch the sustainable goal of energy conservation and carbon reduction, and the 10-year period from 2025 to 2035 will be the Sustainable Development target for 10% carbon reduction.  In 2025, Sunlit will introduction the ISO 50001 energy management standard. 

Energy 

The energy used by Sunlit Company is mainly electricity.   Sunlit has committed to a 2050 net-zero emission policy, including the purchase of renewable energy and the planning of the installation of renewable electricity, external evaluation and consultation on the purchase of carbon-neutral renewable electricity, and internal evaluation and planning for the installation of renewable electricity, and committed to achieve the first phase of short-term renewable energy 10% target by 2035. The progress of renewable energy achievement is reviewed by the Sunlit Sustainable Development Committee every year to achieve the status of strategies and goals. 

Environmental Protection 

As an aspect of environmental protection management, Sunlit has obtained ISO 14001 certification. In the spirit of continuous improvement, Sunlit’s environmental considerations include life cycle assessment to continuously update and grasp the environmental aspects and impacts of our business operations. 

Water Resources 

In 2025, the ISO 46001 water efficiency management system will be introduced for management of major water-consuming factory systems.
